Is HTTP application permission needed for the Powershell script execution?
Applies to
- NetApp ONTAP PowerShell Toolkit
- ONTAP 9
Answer
- It depends on if the cmdlet calls with ONTAPI or REST API.
- Since NetApp is transitioning ONTAPI (ZAPI) to ONTAP REST API, it recommends setting the user's HTTP application permission.
