API call to ONTAP returns "exceeds configured session limit"

Issue

While performing a large number of API requests to ONTAP, ONTAP returns an error similar to the below:
 

"This request exceeds the configured session limit (20) for your application ("python-requests/2.25.1"). :: Throttled"

Or

Share snapshot bulk delete failed. NetApp API failed. Reason - 262287:DELETE of record \"volume.uuid: 8994681a-94fc-11ef-9f89-00a0b8c90a2c, uuid: 5a2f970b-011d-4818-950d-303f2bb336e0\" failed. Reason: Reached per-node limit of 250 running or pending tasks. Retry in 1800 seconds.
