  • The threshold behavior for file-rename-rate-surge-notify-percentage is based on the learning period's rename rate. 
  • The surge notification threshold is calculated as follows:  
    • If the learning mode high-entropy data percentage is 8%, and file-rename-rate-surge-notify-percentage is set to 100%, the surge threshold becomes 16% (8% * 2).
    • If the learning mode high-entropy data percentage is 8%, and file-rename-rate-surge-notify-percentage is set to 50%, the surge threshold becomes 12% (8% + 50% of 8%).
