Unused SnapMirror Cloud object store causes objstore.host.unresolvable messages

Issue

  • Event log messages similar to the following are seen:
Mon Nov 18 00:15:26 -0500 [Cluster01-01: svc_queue_thread: objstore.host.unresolvable:error]: Object-store server host name "SMobjstore.example.com" cannot be resolved to an IP address on node node_uuid
  • Attempts to remove the SnapMirror object store fail:
::> snapmirror object-store config delete -vserver svm_name -object-store object_store_name
Error: command failed: failed to remove object store configuration during config delete for Vserver "svm_name", object store "object_store_name". (Cannot delete object store configuration "object_store_name" as there are objects in the store.)
