Issue

  • Syslog destination changed using event notification destination modify -syslog <new_IP_address> command
  • Syslog events generated soon after change are sent to previous syslog server address
  • Audit log shows command executed successfully
  • Event generated within minutes after the change is sent to old syslog destination
  • Syslog events are sent to new destination after several minutes
  • No error or warning displayed during configuration change
