Answer

  • There is no impact for disabling the efficiency on a volume. If you disable the efficiency of a volume, it will just stop making any further efficiency savings.
  • There is no impact for disabling volume compression on a volume. Disabling the compression of the volume will only make it that new writes on the volume will not be compressed (already existing compressed data on the volume will still remain compressed).
