The disk capacity of the drive mounted with qtree has changed to the volume capacity

Issue

  • After making the following volume configuration changes, the disk capacity of the drive mounted with the qtree changed to the volume capacity excluding the snapshot reserve area:
    • Disabled auto-grow
    • Doubled the current volume size
    • Changed the snapshot reserve from 5% or 10% to 45%
    • Enabled deduplication
    • Manually ran deduplication
  • No changes were made to the qtrees or quotas.
  • Reinitializing the quotas (turning them off and on) did not resolve the issue.
