The mtuCheckFailure and incorrectBondPortCount alerts detected after Mellanox Onyx upgrade

Issue

After upgrading the Mellanox switches to Onyx version: 3.10.4302  the following cluster alerts are reported repeatedly.
 
mtuCheckFailure
Failed to send messages between nodes using the maximum configured MTU (9000). Messages between the following nodes failed: { 6 -> 14, 13 -> 14, 17 -> 14 }.Incorrect MTU settings can prevent garbage collection from running and cause performance problems.
 
incorrectBondPortCount
Incorrect bond port counts detected on the sipi interfaces of nodes: {6,7,10,11,14,17}
