NVIDIA SN2100 switch unable to manually set port speed to 10G

Issue

  • Some ports utilizing the 10G MAM1Q00A-QSA module are down and will not link up
  • The recommendation is to manually set the port speed to 10G and disable auto-negotiate on the switch
  • Running the commands below results in no changes to the interfaces:

nv set interface swp3-14 link auto-negotiate off
nv set interface swp3-14 link speed 10G
nv config apply

  • nv show interface <if_name> will show no changes to the port
