CN1601 Uplink port 0/14 not passing traffic after a Network Change

Issue

  • After a customer network change, port 0/14 goes offline and is not passing traffic.  Switch logs will show the following:
<11> Aug  4 15:07:27 172.16.5.131-1 DOT1S[30291860]: dot1s_ih.c(1583) 3043 %% Diagnostically disabling interface 1/0/14
<14> Aug  4 15:07:27 172.16.5.131-1 DOT1S[30291860]: dot1s_control.c(1202) 3044 %% Rate limit of 15 for 3 consectutive seconds has been exceeded on port 1/0/14
<13> Aug  4 15:07:27 172.16.5.131-1 TRAPMGR[30292324]: traputil.c(625) 3045 %% Spanning Tree Topology Change: 0, Unit: 1
