Issue

  • After performing planned upgrades  for ONTAP and Cisco Switches, Cluster Switch Log Collection stops working
  • The upgrades are performed as follows:
    • ONTAP 9.13.1P8 to 9.16.1P3
    • NX-OS 9(12) to NX-OS 9(13)
    • Reference Configuration File (RCF) version 1.7 not updated
  • The behaviour observed is similar to KB Cluster switch log collection initiates but fails - NetApp Knowledge Base, but troubleshooting does not solve the issue
  • Reconfiguration of Cluster Switch Health Monitoring, Cluster Switch Log Collection and SSH configuration in switch do not solve the issue.
