Issue

Attempting to install NX-OS 10.3(1)F or later results in the following error:

switch# install all nxos bootflash:nxos64-cs.10.3.1.F.bin
Installer will perform compatibility check first. Please wait. 
Installer is forced disruptive Verifying image bootflash:/nxos64-cs.10.3.1.F.bin for boot variable "nxos".
[#                   ]   0% -- FAIL.
Return code 0x40450037 (Not a valid nxos image). Please check the image cksum using `show file  md5sum`.
Pre-upgrade check failed. Return code 0x40450037 (Not a valid nxos image).
