FC-LAG between brocade and Cisco UCS switch is no longer functioning post UCS upgrade to 4.3

Issue

  • FC-LAG configuration was working fine between Brocade switches and Cisco UCS switch until UCS firmware 4.2.
  • Post upgrading UCS firmware to 4.3 FC-LAG stopped working.
  • Roll backing the UCS firmware to 4.2, FC-LAG appears to work properly.
  • Brocade was able to copy the PWWN field from FLOGI packet into the FLOGI-ACC packet which was presenting itself as Cisco switch connecting to another Cisco switch.
