Switch ports will not come up on new BES switch due to no fec

Applies to

  • Adding BES-53248 cluster switch to new nodes or existing cluster
  • FEC (Forward error correction)

Issue

  • Nodes in the cluster cannot link up with new BES switch ports
  • Reseating/replacing cables or SFPs does not help
