Stale entry seen post Switch rediscovery of the Brocade switch on SANnav

Issue

  • The port on the switch is a Physical port with No NPIV on it, whereas in SANnav for same port there exists an NPIV.

  • There was an Active LPAR previously on this port , however it's current state is offline and shouldn't reflect in SANnav, but it is getting highlighted in SANnav and is grayed out .
  • From the host port page, the switch port is connected to a physical host port and NPIV host port (which is shown as a grayed out entry) .

  • Rediscovered the switches on SANnav post switch deletion from SANnav still stale entry is being reported.
  • Fabric rediscovery tried and issue still persists.

 

  • SANnav log shows that the NPIV host port is removed from the fabric-
mediation-service - [INFO ] 2024-09-2122:21:41.947 [Async-task-pool-8] com.brocade.dcm.mediation.assetcollector.NameServerCollector- Fabric Id: 55, Collection Name: xxxxxx, Collection Type: LAZY,Diff:
