Issue

  • Multiple switch alerts for different components. Example:
[node_name: mgwd: callhome.hm.alert.major:alert]: Call home for Health Monitor process cshm: SwitchFanNotPresent_Alert[switch_name-1/Fan Module-1].
[node_name: mgwd: callhome.hm.alert.major:alert]: Call home for Health Monitor process cshm: SwitchPowerNotPresent_Alert[switch_name-1/PowerSupply-1].
  • The cluster network connectivity is healthy for the switch_name-1 and switch_name-2 but the "system switch ethernet show" command is "slow" when switch b is present in the Cluster Switch Health Monitoring.
  • SSH connectivity is ok.
  • Correct environmental status of switch_name-2
  • SNMP connectivity is ok to both switch_name-1 and 2
  • The issue stops when:
    1. Deleted both switches from CSHM
    2. Added manually the switch switch_name-1, alone
  • The issue is noticed again when:
    1. Deleted both switches from CSHM
    2. Added manually the switch switch_name-2, alone
