BES switch ports offline after power outage

Issue

  • After site power outage multiple switch ports (ISLs and Intra Cluster ports) are reporting offline and cannot be brought online

  • The switch is powered on and reachable over console connection
  • Switch is running up-to-date Broadcom's Ethernet Fabric OS (EFOS) firmware and NetApp's Reference Configuration File (RCF)
  • Ports in NetApp filers are confirmed to be working via loopback
  • Bouncing the ports through console (in switch) does not work
  • Cabling re-seat does not bring the ports online on the switch side
