Unable to increase volume size due to API 461 error in NetApp E-Series on async mirror

Issue

  • Cannot increase the size of a volume used in an asynchronous mirroring target.
  • Source volume was successfully increased, and initialization has finished.
    • Attempting to increase the target volume results in the error:
    • "The operation cannot complete because a volume in the volume group is being initialized. (API461)".
  • No operations are reported as in progress on either storage systems
