LUNs going offline after Host migrations due to incorrect host mappings on E-Series

Issue

  • Following a Host migration, reports of LUNs going offline from the Host with direct connections to E-Series array.
  • Windows event logs report: 
    • Volume needs to be taken offline to perform a Full Disk Check

    • A corruption was discovered in the filesystem structure on Volume. The exact nature of the corruption is unknown. The filesystem structure needs to be scanned online

  • E-Series MAJOR-EVENT-LOG reports intermittent Fibre Channel link errors:
