  • This article describes the method for testing that device failures are correctly notified.
  • Manually trigger an event to ensure that Autosupport (ASUP) and system alerts are reliably sent.
  • The test event has characters as below:
    1. It occurs reliably regardless of the timing of the operation,
    2. It can be triggered regardless of the device configuration,
    3. It can be triggered with as simple an operation as possible.
