E-Series SMTP AutoSupport fail with :Could not connect to SMTP host

Issue

  • AutoSupport is not delivered via SMTP. The ASUP-TRANSMISSION-LOG file in support bundle reports the following:

Message:AutoSupport message dispatch failed as the server is not reachable

  • From "Web-server-trace-log" get the following error:

 ERROR [AlertManager-1] c.n.e.a.d.s.SMTPSender [SMTPSender.java:193] [requestId=0, deviceId=N/A] SMTP message send failed to: host
