Issue

  • E-Series Recovery Guru found in support bundle and AutoSupport reports the following failure for all the drives in the controller shelf. The failure entry can be seen in the SANtricity System Manager home page:

DEGRADED_DRIVE_PATH-Recovery Failure Type Code: 76

  • E-Series events (Support > Events) report drive returned check conditions event from all the drives in the controller shelf. The events include a b/4b/3 event specific codes. b/4b/3 code translate to  Aborted Command - Ack/Nak timeout (Ack: Acknowledgments ; Nak: Negative Acknowledgments)

Description: Drive returned CHECK CONDITION
