Unable to import security key after Simplex E4000 controller replacement with ALL drives secured in a StorageGrid Simplex system

StorageGrid E4000 Simplex with all drives in system secure

Issue

Upon replacement of the E4000 controller it will come up and enter invalid configuration state as expected

The new controller will be accessible via SMCLI and REST API as expected

Santricity will display Invalid Drive Format as expected

However, import lock key fails with Error 18:

ICTAJ05S02H01:/tmp # SMcli 10.115.19.163 -u admin -k -c "import storageArray securityKey file=\"driveKey.slk\" passPhrase=\"Infiniti*1\";"

Performing syntax check... Syntax check complete. Executing script... An error occurred importing the lock key for the storage array at line 1.

Error 18 - The operation cannot complete because of an internal target error. Please retry the operation. If this message persists, contact your Technical Support Representative. The command at line 1 that caused the error is: import storageArray securityKey file="driveKey.slk" passPhrase="Infiniti*1"; Script execution halted due to error. SMcli failed
