FC link reports Linkdown after HBA replacement for E-Series host

Issue

After replacing HBA on Linux host, the link does not come up and shows Linkdown:

SANtricity recovery GURU reports:

  • NON_PREFERRED_PATH-Recovery Failure Type Code: 10
  • ALB_HOST_REDUNDANCY_LOST-Recovery Failure Type Code: 475

Event log reports:

  • 9102 Loss of host-side connection redundancy detected - Host <HostName> <--CRITICAL
  • 4011 Volume not on preferred path due to AVT/RDAC failover - Shelf __, Bay _ <--CRITICAL
