  • Volume group failed during storage controller replacement
  • Amber light observed on drawers prior to replacement.

 Troubleshooting Steps:

Below steps can be performed one after another. Need to verify if the issue is resolved or not after each step:
  1. Verify SAS/ Shelf cables connected properly
  2. Reseat the controller which was replaced to re-establish connections
  3. Reseat affected drawers one after another
  4. Powercycle the storage array for clean power-up with all components in place.
