Applies to

  • NetApp E-Series E5760 storage system
  • SANtricity OS 11.80GA
  • Ubuntu Server 22.04 (HP DL360 Gen10)
  • Aruba 6300M Switch (10G port)
  • iSCSI connectivity and LUN mapping

Issue

  • After migrating from a previous host to a new Ubuntu 22.04 server, the customer was unable to map a test iSCSI LUN from the E5760 storage system to the Ubuntu host.
  • The storage system and host were connected via an Aruba 6300M switch (10G port), with no firewall in between.
  • Switch can reach the E-Series iSCSI IP addresses and the Windows iSCSI IP addresses.
  • Windows can also reach the E-Series iSCSI IP addresses.
