Does NetApp E-Series 2800 support static routes on storage controllers?

Answer

No. NetApp E-Series storage controllers (including E2800) do not support configuring custom static routes.

  • E-Series controller network interfaces (management or iSCSI) only support configuring an IP address, subnet mask, and a single default gateway.

  • Routing between different subnets or networks must be configured and managed upstream at the network switch/router level via the configured default gateway.
