Issue

After adding an expansion shelf with IOM12C's to an E-Series Storage Array running a version below 11.90R3, the following errors were encountered and the expansion shelf was unusable:
  • Failure Entry 1: UNSUPPORTED_TRAY-Recovery Failure Type Code: 72
  • Failure Entry 2: UNCERTIFIED_ESM-Recovery Failure Type Code: 83
