  • NetApp has a strict procedure for recycling disks which protects data from leakage using the NetApp Drive overwrite policy 
  • NetApp encourages end-users to overwrite data prior to returning product to NetApp.

Additional Information

Due to warranty restrictions, NetApp cannot accept:

  • Degaussed drive 
  • Parts otherwise destroyed 
  • Disassembled prior to return
