  • NetApp Standard Contract
  • Lifecycle Services Certificed (LSC) Contract

Answer

  • Lifecycle Services Certified (LSC) Contract formerly called as Authorized Service Partner (ASP) Contract: Support and management are provided through a LSC or ASP. Many management features are handled by the partner, not directly by the end customer via the NetApp Support Site (NSS).
  • NetApp Standard Contract: Support and management are provided directly by NetApp. End customers have full access to system management features in the NetApp Support Site (NSS).
Feature Access Comparison

The following table summarizes the differences in feature availability between LSC/ASP and standard support contracts for end customers on NSS.

If you are unable to access a management feature (such as changing site address, moving serial numbers, or downloading software), verify your support contract type. If you are under an LSC/ASP contract, contact your designated partner for assistance. For standard contracts, these features should be available in the NSS portal.
