ASUP errors in the event logs despite being disabled on the cluster

Issue

  • AutoSupport has been disabled on the cluster
  • event log show following error messages:

    ERROR asup.post.drop: AutoSupport message (HA Group Notification from cluster_name; (MANAGEMENT_LOG) NOTICE) was not posted to NetApp. The system will drop the message.
    ERROR asup.post.drop: AutoSupport message (HA Group Notification from cluster_name; (PERFORMANCE DATA) NOTICE) was not posted to NetApp. The system will drop the message.
    ERROR asup.post.drop: AutoSupport message (HA Group Notification from cluster_name; (WEEKLY_LOG) NOTICE) was not posted to NetApp. The system will drop the message.
