Additional Information

This is being checked when security scans run into known CVE's for MySQL, and there is a newer fix version available from Oracle.
It's better to upgrade SnapCenter than to upgrade only MySQL, since that is not supported.

It should also be noted that the differences (like case sensitivity for field names) between version 5.7.X and 8.0 of MySQL mean that SnapCenter Server is likely to run into issues if the MySQL Database is upgraded to 8.0, or even higher, unless a SnapCenter Server version is out that finally comes with an 8.0 release.

The SnapCenter Plug-in for VMware vSphere (SCV) uses 8.0 releases internally, since it uses it's own storage connections, resource group, policies, etc. and NSM database.
