SnapCenter for Oracle Plug-in fails the backup stating missing archive logs on the database (SCO-LOG-1043)

Issue

  • An error occurs on the Backup which shows only the first of the databases with one or more archive logs listed:

"Discovery failed for object <ORACLE_SID> with warning SCO-LOG-1043: Archived log file /mnt/oradata/<ORACLE_SID>/archive/1_12345_987654321.log  does not exist in the active file system. "

  • A specific case is when it lists the newest log, which isn't ready at the time. This can happen often, or even with each log backup.
