Issue

SnapCenter SAP HANA File Based Backup fails with Exception "java.lang.InterruptedException"

SC HANA Log:

ERROR [pool-4-thread-92576] 100 com.netapp.snapcreator.workflow.task.StartAppBackup -SCC-00301: Start of backup type [FileBasedBackup] for plug-in [hana] failed with error message:
Operation [APPBACKUP] failed with Exception [java.lang.InterruptedException]

or:

SCC-00164: Application quiesce for plug-in [hana] failed with exit code [1] and with error: Operation [QUIESCE]for plug-in [hana] failed with error message:
Operation [APPBACKUP] failed with Exception [java.lang.InterruptedException]

Later versions (4.3.2 onwards) fail with an improved message, that also gives a Powershell solution:

com.netapp.plugincreator.agent.plugin.hana.HanaLogger -Operation [APPBACKUP] timed out, refer logs for more details.
        Set the SC_AGENT_TIMEOUT parameter for configuring the timeout for the Plug-in for SAP HANA Database on this host by running "Set-SmConfigSettings -Plugin -HostName hostname -PluginCode hana -configSettings @{"SC_AGENT_TIMEOUT"="timeout_in_seconds"} " PowerShell cmdlet from the SnapCenter Server.

Init Log:

WARN [Watchdog] 165 com.netapp.snapcreator.agent.nextgen.watchdog.WatchdogImpl -Operation {79b6cc08-b227-42bc-b9bd-3d0058e943ce} exceeded its defined timeout. Cancelling it now.
