SMO/SMSAP reporting errors during Archive Log pruning while performing backup operations

  • SnapManager for Oracle (SMO) 3.2 or higher
  • SnapManager for SAP (SMSAP) 3.2 or higher


During a backup operation, when Archive Log pruning occurs per schedule, if the operation log reports errors that mention RMAN  and crosscheck,  then this article applies.
