SCSQL verification or clone job fails to discover initiators on Windows 2019 / 2022

Issue

After successful backup of SQL Resource Groups, the verification sub-job fails with the following error message.

Error message:

SmCore log files:
[...] Verifying backup for job
[...] Request Data: <SmGetHostInfoRequest>

[...] Response: <SmGetHostInfoResponse>
[...] Failed to get Host Information Failed to discover initiators [ ]
[...] Exception in method: Execute.
System.Exception: Failed to discover initiators [ ]

Backup and verification operations are successful for SQL instances installed on Windows 2016 server,
For the SQL Instances installed on Windows 2019 server , Backup operation is successful, but verification sub-job fails.
