SCO restore failed with RMAN error ORA-07217 : sltln : environment variable cannot be evaluated

Issue

When restoring a SCO backup, it failed with the error:

RMAN-03002: failure of catalog command at mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss
ORA-07217: sltln: environment variable cannot be evaluated.
com.netapp.oracle.core.platform.rman.RmanException: ORACLE-00101: Error executing RMAN command: [CATALOG START WITH '/var/opt/snapcenter/sco/backup_mount/xxxx_xxxx_xxxxx_DAILY_xxxxxxxx_mm-dd-yyyy_hh.mm.ss.xxxx_1/instance_name/1/' NOPROMPT;].
