SCHANA Vault copies increasing the number of Snapshots by two or more on Refresh

Issue

When looking into the backups for a HANA database, newer backups in the Vault Copies view show the correct number of vaulted Snapshots for the database volume, but older backups and also upon Refresh, the newer ones, list a multiple of the original number of secondary Snapshots for each Backup:

i.e. when the number after a backup shows two, the Refresh would make it four.
 
Additionally, it can be seen in the details view that the number of times a destination is listed for a volume, multiplies for each destination (usually doubles up):

The Refresh is supposed to reduce the number of total backup and the listing due to ONTAP's retention on the destination.
