How to prevent SnapCenter for Oracle Java version from being updated by Unix OS patch

 SnapCenter Plug-In for Oracle Database (SCO) versions prior to SCO 4.3


  • When new Linux OS patches are applied, SnapCenter by default will use the latest updated Java version
  • Beginning with SnapCenter 4.3 onwards, SCO can be configured to use any version of Java, which will remain persistent, regardless of future OS / Java updates
