Description

SnapCenter 4.6 (and later) introduced SnapCenter Disaster Recovery APIs, which allow the ability to migrate SnapCenter Server from one host to another 

Procedure

Follow the steps outlined in the SnapCenter Disaster Recovery (DR) REST APIs documentation to migrate SnapCenter Server 

Additional Information

Prerequisites

  • The alternate server host name/Host FQDN should be same as the primary server host name, but the IP address can be different
  • Secondary server version should be the same as the primary server
  • Secondary SnapCenter should be installed on the same location and on same port as primary
  • No jobs should be running related to the SnapCenter Server
