Answer

SC SAP HANA 4.3.2 and later provide support for PIT restore and recovery in accordance with the following guidelines:

  • Only Auto-Discovered HANA Single Container and MDC Single Tenant Systems are supported
  • PIT restore and recovery is not available for manual snapshots
  • System must use auto discovery and be enabled for automated restore and recovery with SnapCenter (PIT recovery using snapshots from earlier versions of SC SAP HANA are not supported)
  • PIT restore and recovery is not supported in SC SAP HANA versions 4.3.1Px and older

Additional Information

  • If you select a complete resource restore operation and automated recovery, the complete workflow is automated with SnapCenter
  • SnapCenter supports up to recent state, point in time, or to specific backup recovery operations
  • The selected recovery operation is used for the system and the tenant database
