Backup Location in Guest File Restore wizard is empty or shows wrong backup time stamp

Issue

Guest file restore of VM's on Datastores being SnapVaulted to a destination are randomly not showing the Backup Location or they are not showing the correct snapshot name and time stamp in the Backup Location.
 
vmcontrol log file shows the message: Total Number of Secondary Locations: 0  for 0 primary locations
