Prefix length can not be saved when setting up VSC within IPv6 environment

Last Updated:

Applies to

  • Virtual Storage Console (VSC) 9.6P1, 9.6P2 and 9.7
  • IPv6 environment

When changing the IPv6 prefix length in Virtual Storage Console's Network Configuration menu, the change isn't saved.  The following procedure does not work:
  1. Go to network configuration menu and select 2) Change IP address settings
  2. Change the prefix length from default value 128 to 64:

  3. Save all the settings.
  4. Review the network configuration again.  The prefix length shows 128 instead of 64.
