Applies to

  • ActiveIQ Unified Mangaer 9.11P1 (AIQUM), all operating systems
  • User/s with role Operator trying to browse through AIQUM pages

Issue

  • When a user, either local or remote, who has the role Operator is trying to access some of the AIQUM pages (for example viewing the details of a volume), the following error comes up: User <username> does not have the required privilege(s) [Storage.Administer]

  • In the error, it is wrongly stated that the required role is Storage Administrator
  • In AIQUM documentation we can see that a role Operator can do this action (example: view the volume details)
