Installation of Active IQ Unified Manager for Linux 9.12 fails post-install scriptlet step but shows installation successful. Accessing UI returns 404 not found

Issue

  • When installing Active IQ Unified Manager 9.12 for Linux, the post-install scriptlet step shows failed but the installation reports as successful.
  • Afterwards, attempting to access the UI returns error 404 not found
  • Errors in /var/log/ocum/ocumserver.log indicate the service cannot establish connections with MySQL
  • Service status output from systemctl status mysqld shows that MySQL did not start
  • Review of /var/log/mysql/error.log shows the following error:
    [ERROR] [MY-013183] [InnoDB] Assertion failure: ha_innodb.cc:4718:srv_redo_log_capacity_used <= LOG_CAPACITY_MAX thread 140198946120128
  • System memory for the machine is set to at least 1TB
