Sporadic GET failures with invalid certificate error accessing StorageGRID bucket

Issue

After applying an updated certificate to the loadbalancer endpoint, the client experiences sporadic GET request failures with the following error message.
 

hostname:~ % s3cmd ls s3://bucket/data

ERROR: SSL certificate verification failure: [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed (_ssl.c:897)

 

Trying to pull bucket.netapp.com/ubitest:latest...

Error: parsing image configuration: Get "https://endpoint.netapp:10443/bucket...res=1726155489": x509: certificate has expired or is not yet valid: current time 2024-09-12T10:28:09-05:00 is after 2024-09-03T16:10:57Z
