Issue

  • Unable to communicate with node alert is detected to the storage node
  • Storage node is in UNKNOWN status
  • StorageGRID Notification (NODE_DOWN-MAJOR) ERROR is detected to storage node
  • Compute controller  respond to ping but storage controller  does not
  • E-series controller is offline and displays no console output from management or diagnostic ports
  • Reseat the storage controller and rebooting the node does not resolve the situation
