Issue

  • StorageGRID UI reports:
    •  Appliance boot device fault detected: A problem was detected with the boot device in the appliance. 
      • appliancebootdevice.png
         
  • In StorageGRID logs, the mSATA boot device (nvme0n1) is reported as not present: 

    • /var/local/kern.log

      • Jan 25 13:45:54 localhost kernel: [10550998.745442] nvme nvme0: Removing after probe failure status: -19
        Jan 25 13:46:24 localhost kernel: [10551029.263797] blk_update_request: I/O error, dev nvme0n1, sector 500114992 op 0x1:(WRITE) flags 0x100000 phys_seg 1 prio class 0

    • /var/local/sys.log
