Issue

A newly deployed StorageGRID environment reports slow read performance for a single threaded application. The application has better performance towards native S3 and a VMware based test environment.

When reviewing the performance statistics in StorageGRID, it does not report any performance related issues such as read, write latency, CPU, memory. It does report high average duration statistics in Support > Metrics > S3 Overview
