499 Errors Observed on StorageGRID After Upgrade to 12.0

  • StorageGRID Load Balancer (LB) nodes reporting 499 errors

Issue

  • Observed a spike in HTTP 499 errors reported against the load balancer nodes.
  • These errors were particularly visible in diagnostics and Prometheus metrics, and primarily affected PUT and POST operations to a specific bucket in production.
